A Casual Day in LA

This past weekend, I really wanted to go see a movie and guess what movie I ended up watching? Baywatch! Have you guys seen it? I really liked it. For movie nights, I usually like to go to The Grove. It’s an outdoor mall, and it’s so fun. There’s a tram driven by a guy in white gloves and there are many shops and restaurants. Plus the famous LA’s farmers market where you can find food from every corner of the globe.

After shopping at Barney’s outlet store and dinner, I stopped by Laduree which is one of my favorite spots, to get couple of macaroons. My favorite flavor is salted caramel, so I actually ended up getting two of them, because one just won’t do. I wore a striped top with fab statement sleeves and a blush toned mini skirt for a trendy casual look.

  1. I haven’t been back to LA since last spring, but I distinctly recall shopping at the Grove! It truly is the quintessential LA experience 🙂 It sounds like much has changed since I last visited though – a Laduree and a Barneys outlet?? Or perhaps I just missed them the last time around. But it sounds like you spent an amazing day there. And perfectly dressed no less! Those statement sleeves are perfectly on trend, and I love the skirt you paired it with. Beautiful look as always!

  2. I love this look girl! And I miss the grove. I used to live like not even 10 minutes from it and would randomly go there on the weekends. Sad I missed the opening of laduree. I have not seen that movie but I’ll have to check it out.

  3. I absolutely LOVE this look, the bell sleeves on the top is so on trend and the lace up blush skirt is super cute. Most of all, I love that silver pump, so sleek and really made the outfit more edgy!
