While I may not be the best cook in the entire world(though I am working on it!), I do make a mean martini. One of my favorite things about the holidays is to have my friends over for an intimate dinner party, and I pick a fun and festive cocktail to make. This year I was inspired to make this grapefruit vodka cocktail, using the delicious and award winning Purity Vodka, which also gave me a great excuse to use my Orrefors crystal cocktail glasses.
While I may not know too much about vodka, but I could definitely tell the difference in taste with Purity Vodka. It’s full-bodied but at the same time it’s very smooth. Another reason I like Purity Vodka is that it’s made from natural ingredients including the very finest organic winter wheat and malted barley and is certified organic in Europe and the US. Purity Vodka comes to life in a unique vodka still made of copper and gold at 13th Century Ellinge Castle in the south of Sweden.
If you like fruity but no too sweet cocktails, then you’ll love this mix. See how to make it below:
1 1/2 measures Purity Vodka
1 measure fresh grapefruit juice
1/4 measure sugar syrup
1/4 measure Cointreau
grapefruit wedges to decorate
Combine all liquid ingredients and shake with ice. Use a straightener to pour into glass. Garnish with grapefruit wedges. Cheers!
